At Dr. Pattanashetti's office, we believe that a good dental practice comes with service, training, experience, and knowledge. All of our friendly and knowledgeable assistants are x-ray certified and required to enter a training program for Expanded Functions through the State of Maryland.

We hold bi-monthly two-hour seminars regarding many office issues, including new dental techniques to make patient visits more comfortable. As a team, we attend Continuing Education Classes outside of the office and also have an annual meeting reviewing sterilization practices. This ensures that our patients are receiving the latest, most up-to-date care in the dental industry.

IRENA TCHITAKOVA
“My name is Irena Tchitakova and I’m a dental assistant. I was born in Bulgaria and graduated with a degree in Chemistry and Biology there. I am now a citizen of the United States and have a diploma in Medical Office and Dental Assisting. I have worked as a dental assistant for almost five years. I speak two languages and have been happily married for nine years with a beautiful daughter. I like dancing, music, spending time with friends, playing karate with my daughter, spending time with my family outdoors, and romantic vacations at the beach.”

LYNN WILDER
“My name is Lynn Wilder and I am a dental hygienist. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland Dental School, as a Summa Cum Laude graduate of the dental hygiene program, and am a recipient of the Philips Oral Healthcare Linda E. Devore Professional Integrity Award. Prior to joining Dr. Pattanashetti, I worked in the specialty field of periodontics. I chose a career as a dental hygienist because I wanted to do something with my life that would benefit people in my community and improve their quality of life. I love my career because the people I meet and the challenges I face enrich my life. I am the mother of two beautiful girls and enjoy many hobbies, such as art, astronomy, hiking, camping, bicycling, cooking, and wine.”

NICOLE WELLS
“My name is Nicole Well and I am one of three front desk receptionists in our office. I have been working for Dr. Pattanashetti for a little over a year. I have about 5 years experience in the dental industry as a whole. I have a daughter and I enjoy music (all kinds), art and fine dining. NORMA HAYNES
“My name is Norma Haynes. I was raised in Virginia and graduated with honors from the Dental Assisting Program at Old Dominion University in 1970. In addition to General Chair side Assisting, I have worked in a variety of specialties, including periodontics, pedodontics, orthodontics, and oral surgery. I worked at the Dental School at the University of North Carolina and taught Dental Assisting at the Bryan Institute in Arlington, TX. While in Texas, I served as the President of the Brazos Valley Dental Assisting Society. I am currently certified in Chair side Assisting and Dental Radiology. I am married and have one son living in Boulder, CO. I enjoy gardening, bird watching, and hiking. I have worked with Dr. Pattanashetti for years and look forward to many more!”
